As a practicing yogini myself, my objective is functional fitness – not an appearance of fitness – but an actual capacity and ability to surpass and endure. I use movements, not muscles. I seek to train all energy systems and to insure that what we train is transferable – to your life, your yoga, your work, your community. Together we build confidence, carriage and vitality in the body, mind and spirit.
Oh, but don’t blame me if you’re sore. Pain is positive and I encourage you (and myself) to step right up and into discomfort. The ability to overcome and improve your performance in life means and costs something. Emerson said it best, “what you do speaks so loud that I cannot hear what you say.”
