Enjoying your Yoga practice? Ready to dive further into your practice of self-inquiry? Come experience authentic, deep relaxation through "yogic sleep with awareness."
iRest Yoga Nidra has been developed over the past twenty-six years by Richard Miller, PhD, a clinical psychologist, author, researcher and yogic scholar, and is uniquely suitable for a Western audience. iRest (Integrative Restoration) is integrative, in that it heals the various unresolved issues, traumas, and wounds that are present in the body and mind. It is restorative in that it aids its practitioners in recognizing their underlying peace of mind that is always present amidst all changing circumstances of life. By building a secure launching point for the body to come into a deep state of ease we are able to relax deeply into being with everything just as it is.
Extensive research has shown that iRest effectively supports the healing process across a broad range of populations. Currently, there are iRest programs in military hospitals across the U.S., as well as in correctional facilities, hospices, clinics, schools, and organizations supporting personal growth and well-being. In June of 2010, iRest was endorsed by the US Army Surgeon General and Defense Centers of Excellence as a complementary and alternative medicine (CAM).
During your practice of iRest, you will be supported in a reclined position by bolsters and blankets as the facilitator takes you through a meditation that involves body sensing, intention setting, emotional awareness and the practice of finding an inner resource. No physical asana (postures) will be practiced.
This practice is suitable for ALL levels of practitioners as it is a guided meditation. Become more grounded, focused and at peace. Embody serenity.

Whether it is a private client or a large classroom when you give an adjustment to someone there is a moment when two bodies are joined.
As we learn to connect and teach others with our bodies we honor the sacred vessel of each person’s physical, emotional and mental edge. The nonverbal communication between each other in the classroom creates a dialogue that is separate and unique from the verbal dialogue. Come learn how to recognize each person’s unique obstacles and receive and give simple and satisfying adjustments in this new workshop.
Bios:
Ashley Halley began her yoga practice over 12 years ago. After years of various forms of movement, she focused her energy on yoga and building her practice. With a degree in psychology and a successful career as a life-stylist, Ashley was inspired to teach and share real life experiences on and off the mat.
Her enthusiasm demonstrates a willingness to guide others toward achieving the same sense of joy and dedication to their own practice. Ashley’s classes are a dynamic, colorful journey combining various elements of poetry, music genres, and human behavior while remaining true to the roots of yoga.
Her dynamic style and nurturing methods encourage students of all ages and abilities to embrace their practice. Forever an eager and adventuresome student, Ashley has traveled the world and trains with such masters as Shiva Rea, Mark Whitwell, Micheline Berry, and Annie Carpenter. Currently, Ashley teaches Prana Flow vinyasa at Yogani Studios in Tampa Florida.
Eric Wheeler believes that a yoga practice provides a path to make connections.“When our path is aligned with awareness our universal and unique patterns begin to meld.” Whether he is teaching a power yoga class, flow class, or a gentle class, the most important part of the class for him consists of focusing on the breath, moving between postures, staying calm, opening the body to energy (prana) and finding space to dive into stillness (Dhyana). Most recently, Eric completed his 200 hr. Prana FlowTM training that includes new and free ways of moving the body with rhythmic, body and pulsations vinyasas within the asana. Eric presents a dynamic form of teaching that includes combining themes, words, essence, solar/lunar cycles and music to design a specific mood (Bhava).Eric has also studied with some wonderful Ashtanga teachers including David Keil, David Swenson Manju Jois, Kino McGregor, and Tim Feldman, most of them studied directly with the late Pattabhi Jois andR. Vinyasa Thai Yoga with Justin Rockett | Sunday 9:00 am - 10:30 am | sign upIf your body is crying out: "touch me", "stretch me", "hold me", "listen to me" or "comfort me", this yoga class is for you. This unique 90 min. class begins with a Vinyasa Flow warm up and then is followed by a step by step guided practice of Thai Yoga exchange. You will feel physically, mentally, and emotionally connected to your true self as well as having a greater capacity to connect compassionately with others. Learn to give and receive without any previous experience in bodywork. It is not required to bring a partner. Remarkably, with Thai Yoga, the giver is also the receiver as emphasis is placed on mindful awareness of breath, flow during transitions, and the practice of honoring one another through unconditional loving kindness. So give yourself the gift of this beautiful practice.
