Enjoying your Yoga practice? Ready to dive further into your practice of self-inquiry? Come experience authentic, deep relaxation through "yogic sleep with awareness."
iRest Yoga Nidra has been developed over the past twenty-six years by Richard Miller, PhD, a clinical psychologist, author, researcher and yogic scholar, and is uniquely suitable for a Western audience. iRest (Integrative Restoration) is integrative, in that it heals the various unresolved issues, traumas, and wounds that are present in the body and mind. It is restorative in that it aids its practitioners in recognizing their underlying peace of mind that is always present amidst all changing circumstances of life. By building a secure launching point for the body to come into a deep state of ease we are able to relax deeply into being with everything just as it is.
Extensive research has shown that iRest effectively supports the healing process across a broad range of populations. Currently, there are iRest programs in military hospitals across the U.S., as well as in correctional facilities, hospices, clinics, schools, and organizations supporting personal growth and well-being. In June of 2010, iRest was endorsed by the US Army Surgeon General and Defense Centers of Excellence as a complementary and alternative medicine (CAM).
During your practice of iRest, you will be supported in a reclined position by bolsters and blankets as the facilitator takes you through a meditation that involves body sensing, intention setting, emotional awareness and the practice of finding an inner resource. No physical asana (postures) will be practiced.
This practice is suitable for ALL levels of practitioners as it is a guided meditation. Become more grounded, focused and at peace. Embody serenity.

*Earns 12 Board of Health Massage CEUs*
This three-day course is designed for body workers, yoga teachers and health and fitness professionals of all modalities to help cultivate personal awareness and healing. We will use the practices of yoga, iRest, active imagination, journaling and meditation to access tools and develop resources for your continued self-growth.
In keeping with the maxim, "Healer, heal thyself," we know that we can only authentically guide others towards integrated embodiment if we're committed to the work of awakening our own latent gifts and allowing them to flourish. You are your first patient. The commitment to continuous personal growth and self-care deepens your ability to provide clients with healthy, vital and illuminated care.
By continuously exploring how you define your own health, you will be more present and successful in helping others do the same. Most importantly, you will be happier and more fulfilled in your life's work.
Just as proper alignment in our physical bodies is the key to a long and healthy yoga or massage practice, there are also core elements to aligning our energy anatomy. Commit to the process of embodying your own creative potential, allow it to take shape and inspire others to do the same.
This course will help you:
- Pinpoint where your personal work lies
- Facilitate self-healing
- Advance the work you already do
- Support a deep and ongoing transformation
- Understand the stages of inner self development
- Understand how energy anatomy is part of the Ayurvedic approach to life
- Develop tools to address stress and ailments when energy is out of balance

Ashtanga & Mysore
Mysore | Monday -Friday | 6-9am | Sunday | 7-9am
Full Primary | Friday & Sunday | 9:30 - 11 am
Level: beginner, intermediate, advanced
The Ashtanga Yoga method is rooted in the development of the teacher-student relationship, known as Parampara. It is this teacher-student relationship which keeps the Ashtanga Yoga method alive and allows students to dive deeply in to their practice within the support and safety of a classroom setting.
This self-paced class allows students to receive individualized instruction while learning the traditional Ashtanga practice. Named for Mysore, India, where Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, Guruji, first taught the Ashtanga Yoga method to students from all over the world. This living lineage is being carried on by R. Sharath Jois and Saraswathi, and is still being taught to hundreds of students daily. You will learn the Ashtanga Yoga method at your own pace, working with new and challenging poses when your body is ready. This class is appropriate for ALL students, even if you’ve never done yoga before, because you get to move at your own pace under the guidance and support of a qualified instructor.
